NHS will be sponsoring a drive to collect items for families in the southern counties in North Carolina that were hit hard by Hurricane Matthew. Many of these families’ belongings have been completely washed away and are left with nothing–so please make sure to spread the word and donate! Our collected items will be distributed to the Hurricane Relief Project at the Crossroads Ford in Wake Forest The drive will run for the next two weeks starting Monday, October 17th to Friday, October 28th. The following items are examples of what to donate:
- Canned Food
- Non-perishable snacks
- Clean clothes and shoes for ALL ages (ex. they do not have to be new clothes, just in good shape, washed, and clean.)
There will be a collection box in the commons to drop-off donated items! Again, spread the word–any amount of donated goods can make a difference in our community!
